The Wind Energy and Turbine Technology Program was the first – and remains the only – two-year Associate in Applied Science program that provides hands-on, real-life experiences in the state of Iowa. Since the number of wind turbines in the state of Iowa is growing quickly, Iowa Lakes Community College is working to help meet the growing demand for skilled technicians who can install, maintain, and service modern wind turbines.
